Our property on Koro Island
encompasses more than 750 acres of forest and beaches. Dere Bay Resort
and Koro Beach Resort encompass two ten acre sites, some additional 180
acres communal space and gardens, and some 70 Homes hidden in the hills,
with some dotted along the beachfront. It is our vision to create a
self-sustaining community of islanders, residents and guests that leave
a minimal ecological footprint while providing a venue and platform for
the exchange of ideas on how to create a better world through learning
and sharing.
Book one resort, two, or the entire facility. We've got room!
The 2 resorts, if booked
completely, sleep a total of 24 guests. There is additional space for 6
guests in two simple cottages at Koro Beach resort, and several houses
are available for rent. In its entirety we can host up to 60 people
comfortably for seminars, workshops, retreats and meetings. We do have
camping facilities available with showers. Transportation between
resorts and homes can be made available, but most often guests decide to
walk and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings.

experiences of any kind.

leaders from New Zealand, India and Europe have used our facilities to
share knowledge with seminar participants. Outdoor seating, surrounded
by nature and blue skies provide the ideal setting for spiritual growth.
Writers workshops: Writers and Readers love Koro Island, and
several of the residents have published successful books.
Birdlife/Bird watching: Koro is a noted area for native bird
species and many bird watchers come from as far away as Europe to see
Koro. Birdlife International features Koro Island in several
publications.
In addition to your workshop, seminar or retreat the resorts offer
vacation experiences such as diving, snorkeling, village interaction and
much more. Contact us to see what can be planned for your group.
